Groundhog Day Synonym and Antonym Cards

Groundhog Day is coming up here in a month! I thought it would be cute and different to make some activities for it!  This is a simple synonym and antonym card set and includes 40 synonym cards, 40 antonym cards, and 6 blank cards.  Here's a few pictures:

Suggested ways to use:

Play like Go-Fish. Students ask other students if they have the matching card. If they do not have the matching card, the student draws from the middle pile. Students lay their matches down when they get them.

Play like Memory. Place all cards face down. Students will take turns flipping two cards over to see if they match.

Have the students determine the synonym or antonym before drawing the second card and/or explain the meaning of both words.

Preschool Sound-Letter Mats

For all those preschool SLPs out there, here's a new, simple sound-letter awareness activity for you.

Each page focuses on a different letter. Students will sort the pictures onto the letter mats based on the initial sound of the object in the picture.
