Slow & Steady: Slow Speech Rate and Giving Directions

This activity targets slow speech rate, giving directions, and expressive sequencing.  It is a 9 page download and includes 36 turtle cards, 3 blank cards, 3 wild cards and 2 student mats.

Students draw turtle cards and give directions aloud for the activity listed on each card to their partner or to the SLP.  Students must give directions slowly so that the partner can repeat them back to the student.

If the student answers correctly and slowly, they place their card on their mat.

Watch out for wild cards. Lose all your cards if you draw one of them! The pack also includes blank cards to write your own!
