This is a great evaluation and assessment app that can give you more information than some standardized tests will give you. It is not a replacement for standardized tests for those of you who need to report a standardized score. However, I would recommend giving this test to gain additional information, report progress, and add your own notes! It is quick, too!!

ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to say why I like the Categories app. A lot of my students have categorization goals and I like that there are different levels and activities within the app.
ReplyDeleteLanguages Adventures and Fun an Functional are my two favorite from Smarty Ears right now. Sunny Artic and Phonology Test would be awesome to have! Looks great! Thanks for sharing and the giveaway opportunity! :)
ReplyDeleteI've only tried Language Empires by Smarty Ears but the students really enjoy it. I've got several of their apps on my wishlist....

My favorite is Phono Learning Center. It appeals to my preschool population and gives them extra practice.
ReplyDeleteSmarty Ears has so many great apps--I love Articulate It, and use it almost daily. My older students love Language Empires, and Sentence Ninja is a hit with many of my students. Hard to pick just one favorite, they are all good!

ReplyDeleteLanguage empires because it is fun for the students and I like that you can choose levels.
