Happy Friday, all!

I hope you're enjoying ASHA if you are at the convention in Denver right now!  I was not able to attend this year, but I was able to go in previous years and loved it!  It's a great learning and networking opportunity!

In honor of ASHA happening this weekend, my TpT store will be on sale until Saturday, November 12! Check it out here!

Another sale happening right now is Word Vault Pro--it's discounted to $19.99 for the convention.  Get it now!! It's an awesome app!

One last thing--if you haven't seen it already, there's a photo scavenger hunt right now!  To join, check out this group on Facebook called the Unofficial ASHA15 Photo Scavenger Hunt!  You can win 40 AWESOME prizes from a lot of bloggers (22 to be exact)!

Finally, be sure to check out major companies like Super Duper.  A lot of them have sales just for ASHA!

Conference 411 {app review}

Happy ASHA everyone!!  Today, I want to review an app that may be extremely helpful for you while you are there!  I discovered it while planning out my convention program and thought it would be helpful to share it.

First, go to the app store and download Conference 411. It's FREE!  Select your conference by clicking on the "Import" button. It will then take you to this screen.  Click on 2013 ASHA and download the program.

Once you are there, you will be taken to a "Switch Board."  This is your main menu page.  Click on any of the buttons for easy navigation.  I'll walk you through each screen.

Here's the Calendar.  It is pre-programmed with the main conference events.  Just click on the different days at the top to move through.

You can look at all of the authors.  They are listed alphabetically.  Click on any author, and it will pull up the sessions at which they are presenting.

The same thing goes for the exhibitors.  It'll tell you about each one and which booth they will be at.

Then comes the fun stuff--the program.  All of the sessions are loaded into the app and are organized by type (poster, 1 hour, 2 hour, etc).  There is no search function here, but you can search by keyword on the main page.   They are organized by day and time.  So all of Thursday at 10:30am will be listed, then Thursday at 1:30, and so on and so forth.

When you find a session you are interested in, you can click through for more information.  Click on the "Go to Session" button at the bottom, and it will add it to your agenda.

It will add the sessions to your agenda, which is essentially a calendar.

And the best part of the app?? It has a MAP!!!

Hope that helps and that it can be an easy solution for those of you who don't want to page through a program booklet or the program planner online!

ASHA Photo Scavenger Hunt {giveaway}

Are you going to ASHA???  Want to have some fun with Consonantly Speaking and me??  Let's do a photo scavenger hunt of things you find at ASHA!   Submit your photos via email (homesweetspeechroom@gmail.com) or Instagram daily (#ASHAphotohunt), and we will randomly choose a person to win $10 worth of items from my store PLUS a product from Consonantly Speaking!!

It's pretty simple--over the course of the next few days, take pictures of the following things you see.  You may take just one or all of them!

1.  Your favorite session (the sign or listing in program works)

2.  Your favorite product that you saw or purchased

3. Your favorite meal/ place to eat

4. Your favorite place outside of McCormick Place to go!

5. Your favorite shoes to wear around the conference

6. A conference sign

7. A picture of the lake

8. Anything else you think is fun!!

And just for fun, me-- this one will be difficult, I know.  If you can find me in the masses, you will get some extra credit!
